Dr. Laurel Stenger
After the completion of her undergraduate Bachelor of Physical Education degree at the University of Alberta in 2009, Dr. Stenger moved to California where she completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic West, graduating Cum Laude and as a member of the Pi Tau Delta International Honours Society in 2012. During her initial post secondary training, she contemplated various health related career paths but was drawn to Chiropractic following a soccer injury which was successfully treated with chiropractic care.
Throughout her years at Palmer West, Dr. Stenger actively participated in various extracurricular clubs and events, affording her tremendous opportunity to treat a diverse population of patients. Her sincere interest in people of all ages has steered her towards a chosen career in family chiropractic. Whether the patient’s objective is to shave a couple seconds off a personal best race time, address a low back flare-up or to allow greater ability to play with grandchildren, Dr. Stenger is fully committed to helping each patient achieve and sustain individual wellness goals.
She has extensive training in the treatment of various musculoskeletal conditions involving the nervous system, muscles, and joints of the body. Working with patients to construct an individualized treatment plan, involving gentle, non-invasive techniques (including but not limited to Diversified chiropractic therapy, Sacro Occipital Technique, Activator and Thompson Drop), in conjunction with education and support, she strives to empower each patient to achieve and maintain maximal health. Dr. Stenger is incredibly excited to be practicing in Kelowna with the fabulous Brix Family Chiropractic team, bringing her passion and enthusiasm about optimal health to the Okanagan community. She looks forward to meeting you!!!!!
