Dr. Keira Fika grew up in Sherwood Park, Alberta where she did her undergrad at the University of Alberta. She then went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude with her doctorate of Chiropractic at Palmer West in San Jose, California. While there she partook in many extra-curricular activities such as providing care at numerous sporting events with the Palmer West Sports Council, organizing events around the school as the Student Government President.

In her last six months of school Dr. Fika traveled to Des Moines, Iowa where she provided care for veterans at the U.S Department of Veterans Affairs. During her time at the Veterans Affairs she had the opportunity to learn about various professions such as pain psychology, substance abuse, radiology, cardiology, acupuncture and general practitioners so she could provide the best patient centred and evidenced based care.

In March 2018 Dr. Fika was selected to present her research on chronic migraines at the Association of Chiropractic Colleges- Research Agenda Conference in Baltimore.

In her spare time Dr. Fika enjoys running, hiking, and traveling. She believes in looking at each patient with individual needs and knows there is a physical, emotional and psychological aspect to health care and wellness. She hopes to bring a unique flare to the Brix Family and the Okanagan community and cannot wait to start helping the people of Kelowna!
