DR. JENNIFER BRIX
Naturopathic Doctor, Jennifer Brix (née Dyck) was born and raised in Victoria and and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with distinction from the University of Victoria. After working in the medical research field and volunteering around Vancouver Island and in South America, she returned to school and went on to complete the four year naturopathic medical program at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine.
After almost a decade of practice in her hometown, Dr. Jen relocated to the beautiful Okanagan to pursue her dream of hot summers and a ski hill at her fingertips. She has a passion for empowering her patients to achieve optimal health, and supports local farms and markets to promote community health, wellness, and happiness.
In addition to her family practice- which has a focus on digestive, hormonal, and brain health- Dr. Jen is an Education Specialist for Factors Group of Nutritional Supplements, Inc., training health industry retailers and educating the public on many areas of health. She appears regularly as a guest on radio and television shows, host webinars, and provide health articles for various publications.
In her spare time, Dr. Jen combines her passion for education with a commitment to educating on matters close to her heart. She is actively involved in saving Africa's wild elephants from extinction, and has volunteered in home building and medical care initiatives in Central and South America.
Dr. Jen had completed training in Acupuncture, Bowen therapy, Laser Therapy for Pain, Neuro Emotional Technique, and Neural Therapy. She is a member in good standing with the College of Naturopathic Physicians of BC, the BC Naturopathic Association, and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors. Dr. Jen also has BC Prescription Rights and is certified by the BCCDC in Immunization.
